If any body believes in Jesus, then you probably wonder if Jesus was born on December 25. I have wondered about this since I was a child growing up. You also are maybe wondering what the star was in the distance and what caused that to happen. I have researched this for a long time and I think I might have some answers for you.
What I found out was Jesus was born on April17 6BC and King Herod was still alive. You see King Herod died in 4Bc so Jesus had to be alive before King Herod died. Remember in Matthew 2:16 that he tried to kill Jesus after he found out that the wise men had deceived him. The star was an alignment of some of the plants in Aries the ram, and it meant that a great king would be arriving.
